Grand Rapids Senior Portrait Photographer
Now booking Class of 2026 & 2027 — sessions that look like you, your style, your senior year.
Senior Pictures That Actually Look Like You
Senior year goes fast. One minute you're picking up your schedule, the next you're handing someone a graduation announcement. Senior portraits are the one photo you'll still have on the wall twenty years from now — and they should look like who you actually are right now, not a polished-but-generic version that could have been taken anywhere.
I've been photographing Grand Rapids seniors since 2006. The best sessions are planned around the person — your locations, your outfits, your things. That's what makes the difference between portraits that could belong to anyone and portraits that are unmistakably you.

Senior Portrait Questions
When should I book my senior session?
Most people start booking in spring and early summer for summer and fall sessions. If you have a specific date or location in mind — especially for fall — reaching out early gives you the best pick of available spots. That said, later openings do come up, so it's always worth asking.
Where do senior sessions take place?
Wherever feels like you. Downtown Grand Rapids, parks, Lake Michigan beaches, your school, a field — I'll help you find spots that match your style during our pre-session email exchange.
How long is a senior portrait session?
Sessions are 1–2 hours, which gives you time for multiple outfit changes and locations without feeling rushed.
What do I wear?
Bring 2–3 outfits that feel like you right now — not what you think you should wear. If you want to run your options by me before the session, just send me a message — I'm happy to weigh in.
Can I bring props or something meaningful to me?
Please do. A sport jersey, an instrument, pointe shoes, a hobby — things that belong to your life right now make for portraits that actually feel like you. The more specific, the better.
How do I get my photos?
After your session, you'll receive a proof gallery to look through. You choose the images you want, I edit your selections, and deliver them in a private online gallery where you can download them, share with family, and order prints.
